Videa launches AI leadership Council to shape the future of artificial intelligence in dentistry

BOSTON, Mass. — Jan. 7, 2025 — Videa, the leading dental AI platform, today announced the launch of the Videa AI Leadership Council (ALC), a first-of-its-kind consortium of dental executives, clinicians, and innovators dedicated to shaping the responsible adoption and future of ambient and applied artificial intelligence in dentistry.

The ALC brings together leaders from some of the most influential and forward-thinking dental service organizations (DSOs), including Heartland Dental, Great Expressions Dental Centers, 42 North Dental, Gen4 Dental Partners, Riccobene Associates, and Cherry Tree Dental. Collectively, these organizations represent tens of thousands of providers and millions of patients nationwide, providing the Council with an unparalleled view into how AI can be effectively implemented across diverse practice models.

The Council’s first initiative will be The Dental AI Playbook, a comprehensive guide for navigating AI adoption across the dental industry. The Playbook will include insights and recommendations from council members and serve as a practical framework for clinicians and operators seeking to integrate AI responsibly.
