SOTA Cloud and Videa finalize integration, bringing Real-Time AI insights to the point of care
December 9, 2025
Orange, CA – September 2025 – SOTA Cloud, a leader in cloud-based dental imaging, today announced the launch of its integration with Videa by Videa, a leader in AI-powered dental solutions. Through this collaboration, Clinical Assist – an FDA-cleared solution within the Videa platform – is now available directly within the SOTA Cloud platform, giving dental professionals real-time AI insights at the point of care.
AI That Works Where You Do
With the integration now live, Clinical Assist automatically analyzes images as they are captured. Results are displayed instantly within the SOTA Cloud workflow, resulting in earlier detection, greater diagnostic consistency, and clearer communication with patients.
“We’ve built SOTA Cloud to be a platform that adapts to the way dental teams work, not the other way around,” said Albert Kim, CEO at SOTA Cloud. “This integration with Videa brings powerful AI directly into the imaging process, helping clinicians make confident decisions and deliver care more efficiently.”
Clinical Intelligence at the Point of Care
Clinical Assist has the most FDA-cleared detections in the dental AI market, with 35 indications, including caries, bone loss, calculus, and periapical radiolucency. These findings are displayed as visual annotations within the SOTA Cloud interface, giving providers a second set of eyes and patients a clearer understanding of their oral health.
Practices using Videa have reported over 20% higher treatment acceptance rates, citing improved patient education and trust in diagnoses. The solution also helps standardize care across providers and locations.
“This integration is about more than just technology. It’s about making AI truly usable in everyday dentistry,” said Dan Pay, VP of Strategic Partnerships at Videa. “By embedding Clinical Assist into SOTA Cloud, we’re giving clinicians the tools to detect disease earlier, explain findings more clearly, and ultimately improve outcomes.”
Designed for Speed, Built for Scale
The integration is designed to support practices of all sizes – from solo providers to large DSOs.
Key benefits include:
• Instant AI feedback within the imaging workflow
• Enhanced diagnostic accuracy and consistency
• Visual tools that improve patient understanding
• Streamlined operations with fewer clicks and less friction
• Predictive insights to support long-term care planning
